(Hound) Casey - Medium - Female![]() This super-cute hound dog mix has spent more than half of her life at the TSPCA. Casey was brought to us by our cruelty investigator after he witnessed her literally being kicked out of a yard. When she arrived, she was scared and confused. She would do well with an experienced person who is patient, consistent, calm, and LOVES to exercise. Casey loves long walks or runs and playing fetch. Because shes active in body and mind, she needs an environment where shell be engaged physically and mentally. Belly rubs reassure Casey that all is well. She craves human affection and responds well to anyone who showers her with hugs and kisses. On her recent outing with a Jog the Dogs Day Tripper Volunteer, Casey rode very well in the car and wagged her tail non-stop. Out of the shelter environment, she was cool and confident, curious and worry free. She loved the time out and was happy to see new sights, explore new surroundings and meet new friends. Casey was so contented after her outing that she slept peacefully on the way back to TSPCA. This sweet gal deserves to be a member of a family where shell be loved and treated well. Shes more than ready to ride home with you! View this pet on Petfinder.com |
